Our approach

We have made a deliberate choice: to collect no data beyond what is strictly necessary for the operation of the website and the relationship with our visitors. This choice goes beyond GDPR requirements — it reflects how we think about our work.

In practice, this means:

  • No Google Analytics — we use Matomo, an open source analytics tool hosted on our own servers in France. No browsing data leaves the European Union.
  • No third-party cookies — no advertising cookies, no social media trackers, no remarketing pixels.
  • No cookie consent banner — our Matomo configuration meets the CNIL exemption criteria (IP anonymisation, limited retention period, no cross-site tracking). No prior consent is therefore required.
  • No data transfer outside the EU — self-hosted fonts, no third-party CDN, no external service requiring transatlantic data transfer.

Data controller

The data controller is Agerix SARL, 4 rue Jean Moulin, 33310 Lormont, France — contact@agerix.fr.

Data collected

Audience measurement (Matomo) — We collect anonymised browsing data: pages visited, visit duration, browser type, screen resolution, country of origin (without precise geolocation). IP addresses are truncated before any recording. This data is retained for 26 months and then automatically deleted.

Contact form — When you contact us through the form, we collect your name, email address and message content. This data is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry. It is retained for the time necessary to process your request, then deleted.

Server logs — The server records technical logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, response code). These logs are used exclusively for security and diagnostic purposes. They are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right of access — obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and receive a copy.
  • Right to rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure — request the deletion of your data.
  • Right to object — object to the processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@agerix.fr. We respond within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority) or your local supervisory authority.

5. Cookies

The website agerix.fr uses a single technical cookie set by Matomo, our audience measurement tool. This cookie distinguishes unique visitors without personally identifying them. It is exempt from prior consent under the CNIL recommendation on audience measurement tools.

No other cookies are set by this website — no advertising cookies, no social media cookies, no personalisation cookies.

6. Governing law

This website and its terms of use are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.
